Russell T. Levey

Born on September 25, 1937 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Russell Levey and Mary Justa Wolf.

Russell was a retired teamster truck driver for many years.

He was a Post Commander of VFW Post 8126, Havre de Grace, Maryland, member of the American Legion also in Havre de Grace, Maryland.

He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles football fan.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Edith Van Wert Levey who passed away in 2014.

Russell is survived by his children; Jacqueline Jennings and her husband John of Nazareth, Pa., Charles Levey and his wife Gina of Cary, North Carolina, Monica Floyd of Bangor, Pa. and Marc Levey and his wife Adrienne of Nazareth, Pa. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Lisa, Steven, Justina, Elizabeth, Kathryn, Jacob and Chase. Additionally, he is survived by  his great-grandchildren, Braiden, Benjamin, Steven Jr., and Russell James “RJ”.

His siblings, Bill Levey of Virginia, Harry Levey of Florida and Barbara Kitchens of South Carolina, also survive him.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2018 from 3PM to 5PM at The Finegan Funeral Home, 4080 William Penn Highway, Palmer Twp., Pa., followed by a service at 5PM.

Interment will be held privately at a later date.
