Born on August 17, 1948 in Easton, Pa., he was the son of the late William and Norma Clowers.
He was a self-employed construction worker for most of his life.
Ron loved Frank Sinatra, having lots of memorabilia in his home. He enjoyed crossword puzzles, was an avid Miami Dolphins fan, loved to listen to music, and really enjoyed working in his yard. He was a member of the Lester Pfeiffer American Legion Post 611.
He is survived by his wife Madeline Dekmar Clowers, his step-children, Kevin Baylor of Phillipsburg, NJ, Debbie Sansone, of Phillipsburg, NJ, Kyle Kels, of Harmony Twp., NJ, and Kristie Goodman, of Bethlehem, Pa. Ron is also survived by 11 step-grandchildren and 11 step-great-grandchildren, along with 2 brothers, Robert Clowers, of Easton, Pa. and Rick Clowers, of Palmer Twp., Pa.
A Gathering for family and friends will be held on Friday, May 19, 2017 from 6PM to7PM at The Finegan Funeral Home, 302 Heckman St. Phillipsburg, NJ. A Memorial Service will follow at 7PM in the funeral home.
