Robert D. Oakley

Robert D. Oakley, 84, of Easton, PA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 25, 2022.

Born on January 11, 1938, in Teaneck, NJ, he was the son of the late Robert J. and Mollie (Campbell) Oakley.

Robert served in the United States Navy, graduated from Rutgers University in 1966 with a Degree in Engineering and retired as the CEO of Advantest America. Robert loved to travel and adored his grandchildren.

Robert is survived by his children, Michael D. Oakley and his wife, Darlene, of Melbourne, FL, and Lisa A. Lucas and her husband, Russ, of Chicago, IL, his grandchildren; Griffin, Conlan, Trace and Declan, his brother, Frank C. Oakley, of Montvale, NJ, his nieces, Laurie and Kathleen, his great nephew, Evan and his companion, Melinda Watson.

A Calling Hour is scheduled for Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, 132 S 5th St, Easton, PA, from 9:30 to 10:30 AM, with a Mass of Christian Burial to directly follow. The Inurnment will then be held at the Easton Cemetery, Easton, PA.
