Patricia A. Herbert Izarek
Born in Phillipsburg, NJ, she was the daughter of the late James and Sarah Bergenback Herbert.
A graduate of the former St. Philip and St. James High School, and member of its church, Patricia trained as a telephone operator at Bell Telephone of PA. She worked as a receptionist for 6 years at Shahmoon Industries in Phillipsburg and was later employed for many years at various telephone answering services in the Easton-Phillipsburg area.
Her husband of 30 years, Albert Izarek, died in 1995. She is survived by her son Stephen James Izarek, his wife Stacy Izarek, her daughter Stephanie Veronica Izarek, and her partner Timothy Lang, all of Easton, PA. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Stephen Izarek Jr., Matthew Izarek (and his wife Ashley), Emmett Izarek Smith, and Kaitlyn Izarek, and her great-grandchildren Jeremiah Beamon and Rhylie and Amelia Izarek. Patricia has 7 nieces and 7 nephews.
Patricia was predeceased by her brothers James Herbert and William “Doc” Herbert and her sisters Margaret Napoli and Therese Krouse, as well as by her youngest daughter, Carol Izarek.
A Prayer Service will be held at the Holy Ghost Ukranian Catholic Church 315 4th St. West Easton, Pa. 18042 at 7:30PM Wednesday April 10th, followed by a Celebration of Life. All are invited. In lieu of flowers, donations in Patricia’s name can be made to St. Judes’ Childrens Hospital at www.stjude.org
