Michael R. Koehler Sr.

Born March 6, 1963, in Stroudsburg, PA, he was the son of George Koehler, of Ballston Spa, N.Y., and the late Constance Helen McKenzie Koehler.

He was a lover of car models, sports memorabilia, the television show MASH, and Lynyrd Skynyrd. He was a great man who was loved by all.

He is survived by his wife, Kathleen McDonald Capelle, and children; Michael R. Koehler Jr. and wife Brittany, of Phillipsburg, Raymond M. Koehler of Phillipsburg, Ashley Chapman and husband Charles, of Easton, PA, Jeffrey R. McDonald and wife Lea, of Phillipsburg, James A. Capelle and wife Danielle, of Effort, PA, as well as 17 grandchildren. Michael is also survived by a brother, George Koehler Jr. of Effort, PA, and sister Susan Kietrys of Pennsylvania. In addition to his mother, he was also predeceased by a step-son, Christopher J. Capelle and sister, Katherine Helen Koehler Ferrand.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2019, from 6-8pm at the Finegan Funeral Home at 302 Heckman Street in Phillipsburg with funeral services beginning at 8pm.
