MaryAnne Minardi Talipan

Born January 7, 1943 in Phillipsburg, NJ, she was the only child of the late Armando Minardi whom she loved without measure and Anna Bevilacqua Minardi who was her rock until her death at 96.

She was a 1960 graduate of Sts. Philip and James High School. She never missed a class reunion and was proud to be a “Terrier”.

She was a medical transcriber at both Warren and Easton Hospitals. She was employed at various local doctors’ offices in various capacities, including office manager.

She is survived by her husband and “soulmate” of 25 years, Richard J. Talipan, owner of Beverly Palm Jewelers in Easton. They loved to travel and went on many family trips with their children and grandchildren. They also loved to entertain. Their Super Bowl Party was legendary and the Fourth of July bash and Labor Day Clambake were outstanding.

Her greatest joy was being an “Italian Nonny” to her three grandchildren Johnny 21, Colette 18 and Rece 16, as well as all their friends. She adored her grandchildren and was very proud of them.

She loved and respected her son, James Brian Martin and daughter Bridgette Alfonso. She loved her “daughter by marriage” Karen – her “go to person” and soccer game companion and her “son by marriage” John.

She loved to cook and being in her kitchen and seeing her husband and grandchildren in their pool made her happy. She was happiest sitting at the beach with her feet in the sand. She also loved that her home was known as “Camp Nonny”.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2019, at 10:00am at St. Mary Catholic Church, 830 5th Avenue, Alpha, N.J. 08865. There are no calling hours and the interment is private. The Finegan Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Per her request, donations can be made in her name to The American Cancer Society and St. Luke’s Hospice.
