Mary Jane (Caponigro) Labate

Born on September 3, 1929 in Bangor, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Michael and Louise Faraldo Caponigro .

Jane was a dedicated housewife and mother and will be missed by all. She enjoyed walking, football, game shows and spending her winters in Florida. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister Rose LaValva.

Jane is survived by her husband Dominick J, who shared 63 years of marriage, her sons, Michael and his wife Patty, Dennis and his wife Steffanie, and Steve and his wife Mary Beth. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jason, Michael, Maria, Ellie, Gavin, Leigh Anne, and Laura. Additionally, she is survived by her great-grandchildren, Vincent and Anna Jean, along with her brother, Michael and his wife Marlene.

A calling hour will be held on Friday, July 3, 2020 from 10AM to 11AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 3219 Santee Road, Bethlehem, Pa. 18020, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM. Burial will be held privately. The Finegan Funeral Home, Palmer Twp., Pa., has been entrusted with her arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Mary Jane to the church.
