Born in Phillipsburg on July 30, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Glenn and Margaret Templeton Clark.
Glenda was employed with Martin Zippel Co. and Spacesavers, both in Phillipsburg. Glenda was a lifelong member of her beloved church, St. Philip & St. James Catholic Church. She was a graduate of SPSJ Parochial High School Class of ’57. Glenda was an avid NY Yankees fan, but her greatest joy in life was being with her family.
Glenda is survived by her husband of 54 years, Richard J. Lawler; children are Richard G. Lawler of Bangor, Pa., Julia A. Fortner and her husband Randy of Easton, Pa., Tracy C. Meixsell and her husband Carl of Raritan, NJ, Todd A. Lawler and his wife Michelle of Gibsonia, Pa. and Jill M. Olexa and her husband James of Alpha, NJ. Her sisters are Sharon Dieda of Phillipsburg, Sandra Dipple of Milford, NJ and Joelyn Kullman of Lopatcong Twp., NJ. Grandchildren are Carl R., Bradley, Paige, Trevor, Gabriel, Ava, Evelyn, Austin, Reece and Amber. Glenda was predeceased by a brother, Kevin Clark.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday February 14, 2019 at 10 am at St. Philip & St. James Catholic Church, 430 S. Main St., Phillipsburg, NJ. Interment will be in the parish cemetery in Greenwich Twp., NJ. There are no calling hours. The Finegan Funeral Home in Phillipsburg has been entrusted wiith the arrangements.
