Margaret R. Leeper
Margaret R. Leeper, 87, of Alpha, NJ, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family on August 2, 2020.
She was born on December 5, 1932 in Franklin Twp., NJ, a daughter of the late Stephen C. and Elizabeth L. Csordas Ehasz. Her husband of 54 years, Harold J. Leeper, Sr. , passed away on February 21, 2008.
Margaret was a graduate of Phillipsburg High School. She was employed with the Cameron Engineering Dept. at Ingersoll-Rand prior to her marriage. She was then a homemaker. Margaret was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Alpha, NJ, where she was a CCD Teacher for 5 years. She was active with the Civil Air Patrol Auxiliary of the US Air Force, Squadron 105, Bethlehem, Pa.
Margaret is survived by her children; Thomas S. Leeper, Sr. and his wife Leona; Beth C. Badway and her husband Bob; Harold J. Leeper, Jr. and his wife Ingrid; Marcia K. Silverman and her husband David. Her sister and brother; Gloria Bodogh and Stephen A. “Sonny” Ehasz and his wife Karen. Her grandchildren are Dr. Amy Buono, Daniel Leeper, Michael Badway, David Leeper, Thomas Leeper, Jr., Kenneth Leeper, Douglas Leeper, Jacob Silverman and Jesse Silverman. Great-grandchildren are Patrick, Grace, Ava, Chase, Forrest, Logan, Parker, Liam, Elisabeth, Katy and Talon. She was loved by many nieces and nephews.
Viewing hours will be held on Wednesday August 5th, 2020 at The Finegan Funeral Home, 924 Second Ave., Alpha, NJ, from 6 to 8 pm. Funeral services and interment will be held privately.
