Margaret E. Kennedy

Born on October 3, 1925 in Hokendauqua, Pa., she was the daughter of the late John and Susan Osifcsak Eureyecko. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband, Bernard E. Kennedy, along with her sisters, Mary Mamrack, Anna Nixon, Helen Conti; and her brothers John and Michael Eureyecko.

Margaret was a graduate of Phillipsburg High School Class of 1943 where she served as senior class president. After graduation, she worked at the Lafayette Trust Bank in Easton, PA, a job that she loved and took great pride. She was an active participant in the Meals on Wheels program in Phillipsburg, NJ and the American Cancer Society.

She was a devoted member of St. Mary Catholic Church and a faithful member of the Altar and Rosary Society. Margaret’s greatest joys were spending time with her family.

Margaret is survived by her cherished children, Michael and his wife Debra of Moorestown, NJ, Patrick and his wife MaryLou of Hopewell, NJ, MaryBeth (Kennedy) Luzzetti and her husband Nelson of Pohatcong, NJ, and Ann Marie (Kennedy) Hurley and her husband Timothy of Cinnaminson, NJ. She was blessed with 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, private funeral services will be held for her family by the Finegan Funeral Home, Alpha, NJ.

The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be given to St. Mary Catholic Church, 830 5th Ave. Alpha, NJ.
