Margaret C. Smith

Born on June 10, 1932 in Newark, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Herd Dyer.

Margaret was a homemaker for all of her life. She enjoyed playing Pogo, slots and got much joy out of spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Edward P. Smith who passed away in 2007, along with her daughters, Rita Marini, Margaret Massey, her son Michael Massey, and  her great-grandson Evan Robert Chunko.

Margaret is survived by her children, Linda Zimmerman of Easton, Pa., Steven Massey of New Jersey, and William Massey of Bethlehem, Pa. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 from 1PM to 3PM at the Finegan Funeral Home, 302 Heckman St., Phillipsburg, NJ, followed by a service at 3PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Margaret to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis TN 38105.
