Louis S. Minotti, Jr., 83, of Pen Argyl, PA passed away on September 13, 2020. Born December 1, 1936, in Easton, PA. He was the son of the late Louis S. Minotti, Sr. and Lena (Tito) Minotti. He was the devoted husband to Rosemarie C. (Turchi) Minotti of Alpha, New Jersey married at St. Mary’s Catholic Church on September 9, 1961. They just celebrated 59 years of marriage.
Louis was a loving father to his children, Mark L. Minotti, Esq. Attorney in Easton, PA (son) married to Wendy (Mitchell) Minotti of Easton, PA; Dr. Michelle M. Minotti Zurinskas (daughter) married to Robert Zurinskas of Allentown, PA. He has five grandchildren: Mitchell L. Minotti of Denver, Colorado, and Mackenzie M. Minotti of Baltimore, Maryland; Talia M. Zurinskas, Liana R. Zurinskas, and Zara A. Zurinskas of Allentown, PA.
He was the beloved brother of Anthony J. Minotti (deceased), of Easton, PA and Peter L. Minotti and his wife Rosalyn Minotti, of Easton, PA. He was also blessed to have many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Louis graduated from Easton High School (Class of 1954), Villanova University (Class of 1958), and Georgetown University Law School (Class of 1961). Louis was a retired attorney (July 2015) after practicing law for 54 years in Easton, PA. He was admitted to practice before all State and Federal Courts including the Supreme Court of the United States; Member of the Northampton County Bar Association (Former Vice-President and Treasurer); Former Assistant District Attorney under District Attorney Charles Spaziani, Esq.; Former Solicitor of the Borough of Wilson for over 40 years; Former Solicitor of the Roseto Borough Sewer Authority; Former member of the Northampton County Board of View in Condemnation Cases; Life Member of the Pomfret Club of Easton, PA; Current member of the Knights of Columbus, Roseto, PA; Member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Parish, Pen Argyl, PA.
During his practice, he was involved in numerous charitable organizations including Easter Seals, church fundraisers, and giving back to the community. In 1997, Louis was inducted into the Blue Mountain Baseball League Hall of Fame.
Louis was a caring husband, father, and grandfather. He loved to dance to fifties music with the love of his life, his wife Ro. There was nothing more important to him than being with his family. He enjoyed Sunday dinners, golfing, going out with friends, PSU Football, Villanova Basketball, and most importantly encouraging his grandchildren to persevere in academics and athletics. Some of his highlights were watching his grandson win a PA State Wrestling Championship and being a two time NCAA Division I wrestling All-American at Lehigh University; his granddaughter graduate from Penn State University;and enjoying his granddaughters play basketball, soccer, gymnastics, receive their sacraments and earn academic awards.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 18, 2020, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 830 5th Avenue, Alpha, NJ at 10:00 AM followed by an interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, September 17, 2020 and from 8:30 AM - 9:15 AM on Friday, September 18, 2020 at Finegan Funeral Home, 924 2nd Avenue, Alpha, NJ. The public is asked to continue to follow social distancing guidelines including facial coverings.
