Linda Mae Nixon

Linda Mae Nixon, 72, of Phillipsburg, NJ, formerly of Colorado, passed away at home on January 10, 2022.

Born in Phillipsburg on July 24, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Roy DeHart Jr. and Lucille Irene Rooks DeHart Lore. Her husband, Joseph “Carl” Nixon, preceded her in death.

Linda attended Phillipsburg schools and was employed by the Arvada, Colorado School System. Linda was of the Catholic faith. She is survived by her son James Nixon of Colorado; brothers and sisters are Raymond R. DeHart III and his wife Betty, Mary Maslonka and her husband Edwin, George A. DeHart  and Brian DeHart. Several grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.

Services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family through the Finegan Funeral Home in Phillipsburg, NJ. Donations may be made to the Phillipsburg Fire Co. #1, 220 S. Main St., Phillipsburg, NJ 08865
