Lillian L. Stewart

Lillian L. Stewart, 88, of Lopatcong Township, NJ, passed peacefully at home with her son by her side on April 30, 2021. 

Born in Hazelton, PA, on August 22, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Elsie Hnat.

She was married to her predeceased loving husband, Robert W. Stewart, for 56 years.

Lillian worked for the Credit Union in Easton and Sun Tube in Washington, NJ, before meeting her Husband Robert who was the love of her life for many, many years. Lillian was always a giving person and would help anyone out that she could. She was a long standing member of Grace Lutheran Church in Phillipsburg, NJ and she enjoyed various craft projects and antiques.

Lillian is survived by her son Kerry Stewart and his wife Gail, of Palmer Township, PA, her two grandsons, Kerry, Jr. and Kyle, both of whom are also of Palmer Township, PA, her niece, Debbie Olah and her husband Tom, and her grand-niece, Lynn Olah, all of whom are from Phillipsburg, NJ.

A Viewing is being held on Wednesday, May 5, 2021, at the Finegan Funeral Home, 302 Heckman Street, Phillipsburg, NJ, from 10 to 11 AM, with a Funeral Service to directly follow. The interment will then be at the Greenwich Cemetery, in Stewartsville, NJ.
