Kevin M Chomicki

In addition to his loving parents, Michael and Valerie, he is survived by his longtime girlfriend Brandy Maleski of Shoemakersville, Pa., his sister Amanda Hoffman and her husband Dustin, his nephews Alexander and Matthew Hoffman and his niece Charlotte Hoffman all of Doylestown, Pa., his paternal grandmother, Patricia Chomicki of Palmer Twp., Pa., his uncle Henry T. Chomicki of Clinton, NJ, his uncle and godparent George Vollmann and his wife Donna of Bethlehem, Pa., his godmother Linda White of Woodbridge, NJ, along with many more uncles, aunts, cousins and dear friends that were such an important part of his life and the formation of this wonderful young man.

He will be remembered as a fun loving and kind person who gave the best hugs and had the best laugh, he always looked forward to and enjoyed being with family, especially around the holidays.  He loved the Fourth of July and especially Christmas.  He was kind to others, even as a child he would ask for some change from his parents to throw into a bucket for someone in need.

He had a unique bond with his paternal grandfather Henry Chomicki, who would always make time to take him on an adventure; on a “treasure hunt” metal detecting or fossil and amber hunting.  Kevin always listened intently and was mesmerized by the stories we shared with him.  Introduced to Chemistry at an early age by his grandfather, he would take it up as his career choice and graduate from Moravian College with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry.  He worked as a Chemist locally.  We are so very proud of him.

He enjoyed going on many family vacations and adventures and had a fascination with many different hobbies.  He was credited with the research and discovery of a type of insect in New Jersey Amber and collaborated with the NY Museum of Natural History.  Vacations would always be fun and somehow include an “adventure”.  We will miss these times forever but they will always be in our memories.

Kevin was a Boy Scout with the local Minsi Trail Council in Warren County, NJ.

Kevin was a graduate of Bethlehem Catholic High School, Class of 2012, where he played Football (#77) and threw shot put and discus for outdoor Track and Field for the Golden Hawks.

He graduated from Moravian College, Class of 2016, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry with certification and membership in the American Chemical Society.

Kevin was predeceased by his Paternal Grandfather, Henry Chomicki, his maternal grandparents, John and Barbara Vollmann along with his aunt, Barbara Vollmann.

Kevin was a communicant at St Mary Church, Alpha, NJ.
