Born on September 24, 1927, in Phillipsburg, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Violet Danner Davitt. She was predeceased by her husbands, Robert W. Trembler and Robert T. Woolf.
Kathryn was a life-long member of St. Philip and St. James Church, worked as a beautician and a dairy farmer, spent many years as a scout leader for the girl scouts, and was very involved with the Catholic Daughters of America. She was a life-time member of the NJ State Ladies Auxiliary, a former member and past president of the Warren Chemical Ladies Auxiliary, a former member and past president of the Italian-American Social Club Ladies Auxiliary and a past president of the Warren Chemical Fire Company Auxiliary.
She is survived by her children: Robert Trembler and Linda, of Wayne, NJ, Kathryn S. Jankowski and Stan, of Hazel Green, AL, Colleen L. Rapp Leister, of Phillipsburg, NJ, James Trembler and Judi, of Phillipsburg, NJ, and Joel Trembler and Bunny, of Niangua, MO, her step-children: Robert T. Woolf, Richard Woolf and Colleen, Tammy Weisel and Tim and Brian Woolf and Anna, her grandchildren: Eric and Krystal Rapp, Brandon and Erin Rapp, Tracy and Kim Lay, Josh Lay, Gabe Trembler, Adrienne Babbitt and Adam, Tara and Matt Dill and Megan and Joel Bunch, her step-grandchildren: Bobby and Jessica Woolf, Tim and Bridget Weisel, Selena and Patrick Woolf and Brandon, Cory and Ritchie Woolf, her great-grandchildren: Joseph Lay Andy Lay, Karyn Rapp, Anna Hogan, William Hogan, Ryan Young, June Bunch, Cash Dill and Mesa Dill and her brother, James Davitt and his wife Josie. Along with her parents and her husbands, Kathryn was predeceased by her siblings, John Davitt, Frank Davitt, Robert Davitt, Joseph Davitt, Betty Coleman, Marie Langen and Joan Beishine.
Viewing Hours are to be held on Saturday, February 9, 2019, from 3-5 PM at the Finegan Funeral Home, 302 Heckman St, Phillipsburg, NJ, with a Funeral Service to directly follow.
