June A. Mundell

Born on May 17, 1933 in Alpha, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Jeffrey and Merinda Tersigni Pierfy. 

June worked for the Town of Alpha, as a Clerk-Librarian. She also was the bookkeeper at the Peke Inn Restaurant. She retired from the Town of Pohatcong where she was the assistant town clerk.

June lived to care for her family and friends  therefore she will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend.. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Herbert H. Mundell, who passed away in 2003, along with her niece Kelli Pierfy.

June is survived by her children, Kimberly Talipan and her husband Bruce of Danielsville, Pa., and Marylee Mundell-Cohen and her husband Jeffrey of Huntington Valley, Pa. She is also survived by her brother, Jeffrey Pierfy and his wife Jean of Myrtle Beach, S.C., along with her grandchildren, Jeffrey, Trent, and Brayden. Additionally, she is survived by her niece, Traci Richardson and her loving companion, Howard H. Miller.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2020 from 6PM to 8PM at The Finegan Funeral Home, 302 Heckman St., Phillipsburg, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 18, 2020 at 10AM at St. Philip & St. James Catholic Church, 430 S. Main St., Phillipsburg, NJ. Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Alpha, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of June to the church.
