Josephine V. Cruz

Born May 22, 1943, in Brooklyn, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Joseph Cruz and Providencia Vicenti Cruz.

She was employed at Nynex Telephone as well as at Lafayette College in Easton where she was a secretary in the Foreign Language Department. A graduate of Pace University in New York with an associated degree, she was an avid reader, loved cats, casinos, puzzles, crafting, and traveling.

Josephine is survived by her sister; Janet Torres and husband Frank, of Phillipsburg, N.J., as well as nieces and nephews; Frank Torres and wife Erin, Sebastian Torres, Isadora Torres, Joseph Torres, Kenneth Torres and wife Brynne, Logan, Bennett, and Ellie Torres. Ms. Cruz is also survived by close friend, Linda Tutko, who was her caregiver.

Funeral services will be private.
