Josephine M. Thompson

Born on March 22, 1948 in Easton, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Dominic and Elinor Crocker Viscomi.

Josephine was an Account Manager with Harmony Press for many years. Her great nieces and nephews were the love of her life. She attended Churchman’s Business School.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her life partner, Gerald Metzgar who passed away in 2015, along with her sister Michele Broubalow, who passed away in 2012.

She is survived by her siblings, Barry Viscomi of Easton, Pa., Dennis Viscomi and his wife Gayle, of Easton, Pa., and Sandra Bedo of Phillipsburg, NJ. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 4, 2019 at 10AM at St. Mary Catholic Church, 830 5th Ave., Alpha, NJ. Interment will follow in Belvidere Cemetery, Belvidere, NJ. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Josephine to St. Jude’s 262 Danny Thomas Pl., Memphis TN. 38105 or River of Life Church, 445 S. Main St. Phillipsburg, NJ.
