Josephine Bacskai

Born on September 7, 1929 in Pen Argyl, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Franz Chuchra and Anna Marie Carbone. 

Her husband, Joseph passed away in 2010, along with her son, Joseph, Jr. who passed away in 1978.

Josephine was employed by Dee-Gee Sportswear in Phillipsburg as a seamstress.  After retirement, she was a long time homemaker, and devoted her time to take care of her mother and son.  She was a member of St. Philip & St. James Catholic Church in Phillipsburg.

She is survived by a brother-in law and a sister-in-law along with nieces and nephews, and her long time caregiver, Lisa Marinelli.

A private service and burial was held at St. Philip & St. James Cemetery.  The Finegan Funeral Home in Phillipsburg has been entrusted with her arrangements.
