Joseph P. “Flip” Filipowich

Born on March 29, 1953, in Wilkes-Barre, PA, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary Yale Filipowich. He was preceded in death by his wife Valerie Morello Filipowich in 2007.

Joseph worked for Wedco Inc , in West Portal, NJ, as a machine operator and supervisor, he  loved riding and working on motorcycles and was also skilled at repairing cars and computers. He also loved to camp, spending much of his time in his camper at the Camp Charles Campground in Bangor, PA.

He is survived by his daughters; Jennifer Jenkins and Korin Filipowich, both of Easton, PA, his grandchildren; Nia Sefcik and Peyten Newsom, his sisters; Barbara Castner and Dolores Choate and his nieces and nephews.

Calling Hours are scheduled to be held on Tuesday, September 10, 2019, from 5 to 7 PM, at the Finegan Funeral Home, 4080 William Penn Highway, Easton, PA, with a Memorial Service to directly follow.
