Joseph A. Simonetta

Joseph Simonetta, 91, of Forks Township, Pa.,  passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2020 in St. Luke’s Hospice surrounded by his family. Born August 6th, 1928 in Easton, P.A., he was the son of the late Joseph and Rose (Fili) Simonetta.  His wife, Antoinette (Stillo) Simonetta, died in in 2007. He was Managing Partner of Allentown Bar & Restaurant Supply for over 40 years. He was a 1946 graduate of Easton High School. He was a veteran of the United States Army, as a paratrooper & medical airmen. After the army, he graduated from Rider University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting & Finance. He loved spending time with his family, particularly his three grandchildren. He also enjoyed summers in Ocean City, NJ and the beach. He was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, Palmer Twp., Pa.

He is survived by his three sons, Joseph Jr, and his husband Kevin of New Hope, Pa;  Michael and his wife, Dawn, of Forks Township, Pa; and Mark and his wife Christine, of Forks Township Pa; As well as his three grandsons, Michael and his fiancé Michelle of Bethlehem Township Pa;  Mark, and John.  Also two step-grandchildren, Jared and Ben, along with many nieces and nephews. Along with his wife, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Angelo I, Theresa (Tessie), Angie, Marian, Mary, Angelo II, Johnny, and Elizabeth (Betty).

 Calling hours Monday February 24, 2020, from 2-4p.m. and 6-8p.m. and Tuesday February 25, 2020 from 9am -9:30am at  Finegan Funeral Home, 4080 William Penn Highway, Palmer Twp., Pa., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am at St Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, 4049 Hartley Ave., Palmer Twp., Pa.  Interment will be in Ss. Phillip and James Cemetery, Greenwich Twp., NJ.
