Born November 10, 1988, in Trenton, NJ, he was the son of P. Vickie Mendes Branch, step-father, Reginald Branch, father, Leonard “Lenny” Glover, and step-mother, LeKecia Glover.
He worked for the Newark Housing Authority as an apprentice carpenter and was a member of Local 55. Joseph was a graduate of Montclair High School, Class of 2006, (where he was first team all-state and broke the HS sack record with 21 sacks), and Kean University, Class of 2014, with a BA in Psychology. Joseph was a passionate family man and an advocated for his brother, who was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. Because of this, Joseph alongside his family, assisted with forming the Branching Out Foundation Inc. Joseph was well known in his community through his entertainment ventures and was a loyal friend to many.
In addition to his parents, Joseph is also survived by a Daughter, Skylar Joelle Mendes, and siblings; Ja’shaun Branch, Justyce Branch, Ja’vyn Branch, Lexington Glover, and Lennox Glover. Additionally, surviving are his Great-Great Grandmother, Catherine Wright, and Grandmother, Carmen Wallace, as well as a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2018, at the Finegan Funeral Home in Phillipsburg from 3-6pm.
