Born on August 19, 1929 in Phillipsburg, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Katherine Force Amey. She was preceded in death by her husband Philip M. Becker in 1982.
Janice loved going on trips to Atlantic City, NJ, but admitted she was fonder of Las Vegas, NV. She was an avid fan of Phillipsburg sporting events, having never missed a Thanksgiving Day Game between Phillipsburg and Easton between the years of 1938 and 2015. She was also a fan of the New York Mets and the New York Jets and she loved playing pinochle.
She is survived by her children; Philip Becker and his wife Jill, of Phillipsburg, NJ, Scott Becker and his wife Eileen, of Easton, PA, and Kelly Becker, of Williams Township, PA, her grandsons; Mathew Becker and his wife Rebecca, of Harmony Township, NJ, and Zachary Becker, of White Township, NJ, her great-granddaughter, Megan, her Sister-in-Law, Jean Amey, her niece, Susie, and her nephews; Alan, Robin, Jeff and Earl. Along with her husband and parents, Janice was predeceased by her sister, Lois Woytkewicz and her brother, Earl Amey.
A Viewing will be held on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 from 10 to 11 AM, at the Finegan Funeral Home, 302 Heckman Street, Phillipsburg, NJ, with a Service to directly follow. The interment will then be at Calvary Cemetery, in Harmony Township, NJ.
