James P. Stevens

He was born on November 25, 1931 in Easton, PA to the late Joseph and Ida (Badway) Stevens.

Jim served in the United States Navy from 1952 to 1956 during the Korean War. He was a chef on the ship during that time. He was a lifelong chef working in several states such as FL, NJ, MA and PA. His passion for cooking was not only to serve customers, family and friends, but also included many celebrities. Jim was devoted to his family and friends. He will always be remembered for making people laugh, and his witty sense of humor. He was a 1950 graduate of Easton Catholic High School.

He was a member of Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church in Easton, PA.

Jim is survived by his brother Vincent Stevens, daughter Jessica (Damon) McAndrew and their children Mya, Austin and Avery, all of Palmer Twp; son Gregory (Tracey) Stevens and their children Olivia, Kiera and Trevor of Burlington, MA; several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his son Jim Jr., sisters Louise (Stevens) Joseph, Julia Stevens, and a brother Michael Stevens.

Interment will be held on Monday, June 29, 2020 at 1:00PM at Gethsemane Cemetery in Palmer Twp., Pa.
