Born on June 11, 1949, in Easton, Pa., he was the son of the late Jack Scott and Florence Yanceley Scott of Phillipsburg.
Jim was employed by Harmony Sand & Gravel in Harmony Township as a heavy equipment operator and mechanic. He was also employed as a mechanic at S& L Auto Parts in Belvidere, N.J.
He enjoyed NASCAR, motorcycle, and drag racing. He liked nothing more than to have a beer with his buddy’s and going for long car rides in the mountains.
Along with his mother, he is survived by his children, Michele Scott-Joseph and her husband Kenneth Joseph of Walnutport, Pa., Michael Scott, and his Fiancée, Stacy Dimler of Levittown, Pa., and his sister, Christine Scott of Hackettstown, N.J. Also surviving are 3 grandchildren, Alysha, Jorryn, Julie, and many cherished friends.
Services will be private and handled by the Finegan Funeral Home in Phillipsburg, N.J.
