James Anderson

Born on June 20, 1943 in Phillipsburg, NJ, he was the son of the late Alfred G. and Margaret E. Darabond Anderson.

Jim was a United States Army veteran, serving in the National Guard. He worked for Ingersoll-Rand on the drill floor as a machinist for 39 years. He also worked in the Cameron pump division as a pipe fitter.

Jim was an avid hunter, loved gardening, loved feeding the wildlife and just was an avid animal lover in general. He coached baseball in Lopatcong Twp., many years ago. He was a Dallas Cowboys and New York Mets fan.
He and his wife Carol celebrated 53 years of marriage on Nov. 27, 2018. In addition to his parents, Jim was predeceased by his brother, Grover .

Jim is survived by his wife, Carol L. Harris Anderson; his children, James R. Anderson of Lopatcong Twp., NJ; Michael S. Anderson and his wife, Jennifer, of Whitehall, PA, and Tricia L. Houck and her husband, Matt, of Palmer Twp., PA. He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren, Morgan and Tyler Anderson, and Hannah and Thomas "T.J." Houck.

At the request of Mr. Anderson there are no services. The Finegan Funeral Home, Phillipsburg, NJ, has been entrusted with his arrangements.
