James (Jim) E. Cole, Jr.

James (Jim) E. Cole, Jr., 71, of Oxford, NJ, passed away on March 5, 2021, with his loving family in his home.

Born on December 5, 1949, in Phillipsburg, NJ, he was the son of the late James E. Cole, Sr. and Helen (Bolash) Cole.

Jim served his country during the Vietnam War as a member of the United States Air Force. He worked for Thomas & Betts, later Elastimold, in Hackettstown, NJ for 44 years as an electrical designer. He greatly enjoyed his golden retrievers, golfing, photography, travel and art.

Jim is survived by his wife, Deborah Archer-Cole; children David and Rachael Cole; three stepchildren, Kimberly, Carl, and Alexander Archer; two sisters, Anna Herb and Bernadette Roeder; a niece, Teresa Roeder; a nephew, Kyle Maddock; and two grandchildren. He was predeceased by his nephew Travis Maddock.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. The Finegan Funeral Home, Phillipsburg, NJ, has been entrusted with his arrangements.
