Jacqueline M. Murphy

Jacqueline M. Murphy, 73, of Easton, PA, formerly of Phillipsburg, NJ, passed away on March 17, 2023, at her residence.

Born November 14, 1949, in Phillipsburg, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Vajda and Nancy Antonacci Vajda. She was also predeceased by her husband, the late William P. Murphy, who passed in 2006.

Mrs. Murphy was employed by the County of Warren in Belvidere, NJ. She loved her grandchildren and was fond of tigers, reading, and the Hallmark Channel.

Survivors are her children; Patricia Huxta and husband Christopher, of Forks Township, PA, Joseph Murphy and wife Ingrid, of Philadelphia, PA, and Brian Murphy and wife Courtney, of Pohatcong Township, PA. Her grandchildren are Ashley Zechman, Kenni Murphy, D'Lanie Murphy, Colin Murphy, and Declan Murphy. Additionally, Jacqueline is survived by a sister, Patricia Penchishen and husband Joseph, of Saylorsburg, PA, brother-in-law John Murphy, and sister-in-law, Charlene Murphy.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023, from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon at the Finegan Funeral Home at 302 Heckman Street in Phillipsburg, with the interment immediately following the conclusion of the calling hours, at the Northampton Memorial Shrine in Palmer Township, PA.
