Henry James Winger, Jr.

Born on November 23, 1959 in Phillipsburg, NJ., he was the son of the late Henry J. Winger, Sr. and Luretta Mericle Winger.

Henry was a United States Army veteran. He worked for Eureka Stone Quarry as a Heavy Equipment Operator for many years.

Henry was a member of the laborer’s local union #158; he was an avid hunter, fisherman, and a big Dallas Cowboys fan. Henry loved spending time with his grandchildren and he was the biggest “jokester” in the family.

 In addition to his parents, Henry was predeceased by his son Duane Winger, sister Carla Ehrie and his granddaughter, Aryan Winger.

He is survived by his children, Henry J. Winger, III and his wife Vanessa of Saylorsburg, Pa., and Morgan Connolly and her husband Thomas of Blakeslee, Pa. Henry is also survived by his siblings, Debbie Quick of Appalachian, NY, Ricky Winger and his wife Cheri of Iowa, and Charlotte Glor of Longview, Washington. Additionally, he is survived by his 11 beloved grandchildren.

A calling hour will be held on Friday, April 5, 2019 from 11AM to 12 Noon at the Finegan Funeral Home, 4080 William Penn Highway, Palmer Twp., Pa., followed by a service at 12 noon. Interment will follow in the Musconetcong Valley Cemetery, Hampton, NJ
