Helene M. Leon
Helene M. Leon, 87, of Bethlehem, Pa., passed away peacefully on January 30, 2023 at Country Meadows, Bethlehem.
Born on January 28, 1936 in Trenton, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Erwin and Angela M. Guadagno Schuster.
Helene was a homemaker for most of her life. She enjoyed shopping, playing bridge, bowling and was an avid Philadelphia Phillies fan. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of St. Jane’s Catholic Church, Palmer Twp., Pa.
Helene is survived by her loving husband, Charles Leon, of Bethlehem, Pa., her children, Pamela Anthony of Hellertown, Pa., Charles Leon, III and his wife Donna of Bethlehem, Pa. Matthew Leon of Bethlehem, Pa., and Christopher Leon and his wife Dasha of Delray, Fl. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren; Joshua, Brittany, Lindsay, Matthew, Lauren, Alec and Bella, along with her great-grandchildren; Luca, Giulia, Austin, Shayla, Zoe, Briyar and Steele. She is also survived by her brother, Erwin Schuster of Flemington, NJ.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, February 6, 2023 at St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, 4049 Hartley Ave., Palmer Twp., Pa. at 10:30 A.M. Inurnment will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery, Palmer Twp., Pa.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made, in memory of Helene, to the Muscular Dystrophy Association - Allentown, 2132 S. 12th St. Unit 101 Allentown, Pa. 18103.
The Finegan Funeral Home, Palmer Twp., Pa., has been entrusted with her arrangements.
