Helen Minchin

 Born on January 27, 1933 in Phillipsburg, she was the daughter of the late James and Lula Pearl Stettler Dieda. She worked for  McGinley Mills, formerly in Phillipsburg , Outdoor World and ran her own ceramic shop for many years in her home. She was of the Catholic faith and attended St. Philip & St. James Catholic Church.  She was predeceased by her husband John Minchin, in 2005. Survivors are her children; John Minchin and partner Fred Contreras of California, Larry Minchin and wife Sandy of Easton,  Helen Walter and husband Douglas of Easton, June Heyer and husband George of Harmony Twp., and Audrey Miller of Florida.  She is also survived by her sister, June Folk of Bangor, Pa., along with her grandchildren, Jim Walturz, Emmy Slack, Laura Minchin, Jenn Miller, Lisa Schoolcraft, Matt Walter, Bobbi Jo Hopstetter, Lynn Zrodskey, Elizabeth Heyer, Robert Heyer, Ruth Ann Rustay and Joey Edinger. Also survived by 15 great-grandchildren,  1 great-great-grandson and many loved nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at 10AM at The Harmony Presbyterian Church, 2727 Belvidere Rd., Harmony Twp., NJ. The Finegan Funeral Home, Phillipsburg, NJ, has been entrusted with her arrangements.
