Glenn M. Harps

Born on Jan. 7, 1931, in Stroudsburg, PA, Glenn was the son of the late Paul and Adalyn Ace Harps. 

He was a United States Navy veteran serving during the Korean War. Glenn was an assistant foreman with the Easton Suburban Water Authority for 30 years. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, camper and a very creative stone mason. He was a graduate of Stroudsburg High School Class of 1949. In addition to his parents, Glenn was predeceased by his son, Jeffrey Harps, who passed away in 2006, along with his brothers, George and Jack Harps.

He is survived by his loving wife, Frances T. Horwath Harps, his daughter-in-law, Jane Harps of Macungie, PA, and his grandson, Joseph Ryan Harps. He is also survived by his siblings, Shirley Hood of Springfield, MO, Madalyn Murray of Florida, Mary Elizabeth Hockenbury of Sunbury, PA, Marilou McDonnell of McClain, VA, and Paula Harps of Greensboro, NC.

A calling hour will be held on Friday, June 14, 2019 from 12 noon to 1 p.m. at The Finegan Funeral Home, 4080 William Penn Highway, Palmer Twp., PA, followed by a service at 1 p.m. Interment will be in the Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp., PA.
