Gerda Dassler Bamberger

Gerda Dassler Bamberger, 78, of Clinton, NJ, passed away on April 18, 2020.

Gerda was born on July 19, 1941, in Darmstadt, Germany, where she was raised by her parents, the late Max and Lena (Raupp) Dassler. She came to America in 1962 and went to work for Jane Smith and Marie Stadtler, retiring in 2010.

Gerda is survived by her brother, Herbert Dassler of Darmstadt, Germany, her niece and god-daughter, Angie Osman, of Pensacola, FL, her nephews; Allen and Timothy Fink, also of Pensacola, FL, and many friends who loved her. Along with her parents, Gerda was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Bamberger, of Clinton, NJ, her brothers; Max Dassler, Heinz Dassler and Carl Dassler, all of Darmstadt, Germany, and her sister, Irena Dassler Walker, of Pensacola, FL.

Gerda was a great and treasured friend and will be missed by all.

Services are being held privately and have been entrusted to the Finegan Funeral Home.
