Fred H. Schlecht

Born December 18, 1934, in Phillipsburg, he was the son of the late Christian Schlecht and Elizabeth Ricketts Schlecht. He was also predeceased by his wife, the late Ingeborg Mowsky Schlecht, who passed in 2018.

Fred was a life member of Citizens Hose in Easton, where he also served on their board of directors and was also a volunteer fireman in Phillipsburg.

He is survived by nieces and nephews and was the brother of Christian, Harold, Gail, and Charles Schlecht as well as Ellen Frey, Isabell Parr, and Iris Kehler.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 23, 2020, at 11 a.m at the Fairmount Cemetery in Phillipsburg, NJ. There are no calling hours.
