Frank T. Bugglin

Frank T. Bugglin, 96, of Bethlehem Twp., Pa., passed away peacefully in his home with his loving family by his side on May 16, 2022.

Born on September 5, 1925 in Collingswood, NJ, he was the son of the late Frank G. and Anna Danz Bugglin.

Frank was a WWII Veteran.  He served as a Navy Aviation Machinist’s Mate, Second Class, mainly on the Island of Guam.  

He was the Owner Operator and President of Pyrometer Equipment Company, Inc., which was established in 1956 and is still going strong today.  

Frank enjoyed his fishing trips to the Florida Keys with his son and sons-in-law.  He loved working outdoors, spending time with his family and chocolate!  Frank was a Eucharistic Minister and a CCD teacher.  He and his loving wife Lucille were marriage encounter team leaders and a Pre Cana marriage prep team. He also volunteered for Meals on Wheels. He was a graduate of Our Lady Queen of Peace, N. Arlington, NJ.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, George Bugglin and Dolores Gabel.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Lucille Hullfish Bugglin, his loving children; Sharon Richard of Branchburg, NJ, Stephen Bugglin and his wife Kathy of Lebanon, NJ, Suzette Potkovac and her husband Matthew of Bethlehem, Pa., Sheryl Bassett of Easton, Pa., and Shelley Brown and her husband William of Bridgewater, NJ. He is also survived by his sister, Bernice Landis of Allentown, Pa., along with his cherished grandchildren, Samantha Scholl, Billy and Katie Brown, Andrew, Josh and Jake Bassett, and a great-grandson, M.J. Scholl. Frank is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2022 from 9 A.M. to 11 A. M., at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 3219 Santee Rd., Bethlehem, Pa. 18020, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11. Entombment will be held at St. Mary’s Stoney Hill Cemetery, Berkeley Heights, NJ, for family.  

The Bugglin family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Scharle for the exceptional care he gave Frank for many years, as well as the wonderful caregivers of Family Pillars Hospice.  The Finegan Funeral Home, Palmer Twp., Pa., has been entrusted with his arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Frank to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church or to Family Pillars Hospice, 3910 Alder Pl., Bethlehem, Pa. 18017.
