Florence C. Scott

Born, August 22, 1928 in Philipsburg NJ. Florence also lived in Oxford NJ for many years before returning to her childhood home where she was born on Wilson Street. She was the daughter of Floyd Yancelenicz and Ida Husks of Phillipsburg NJ previously deceased. Also deceased, her husband Jack Scott of Phillipsburg NJ.

 Florence was employed by Area Lighting and Research as an office Secretary Hackettstown NJ before retiring.

Florence loved to crochet, needlepoint, sewing and many other crafts throughout her life. She also enjoyed flower gardening, houseplants, crossword puzzles, traveling and finding a good deal at the flea market.  She enjoyed watching golf and NASCAR  racing on television.

Florence is preceded in death by her son James Scott of Phillipsburg NJ.

She is survived by her daughter Christine Scott of Hackettstown NJ, her grandson Michael Scott and his fiancée Stacy Dimler of Levittown PA, her granddaughter Michele Scott-Joseph and husband Kenneth Joseph of Walnutport PA, and her Great grandchildren Alysha, Julie n Jorryn and cherished friends.

 A calling hour will be held on Friday August 23, 2019 at the Finegan Funeral Home, 302 Heckman St., Phillipsburg, N.J. from 10 to 11 AM with a Memorial Service to follow at 11 AM.  Inurment of ashes will be private. Condolences to the family can be sent to www.fineganfh.com.
