Evo P. Lombardi

Evo P. Lombardi, 95, formerly of Phillipsburg, NJ, passed away peacefully on Friday April 17, 2020 at St. Luke’s Hospital Anderson Campus. He was a resident of Abington Manor Senior Living Facility  at Morgan Hill Easton, PA.

Born May 21, 1924, in New Village, NJ, he was the Son of the late Agostino & Anna (Marconi) Lombardi. He was a 1942 Graduate of Phillipsburg High School.

Evo served in the U.S. Army in World War II, Veteran European Theater 110th Station Hospital for 2½ years. He worked at Riegel Paper in Milford, NJ for 20 years and Hoffman La Roche in Belvidere, NJ for 17 1/2 years as an Instrument Mechanic. He was an avid New York Yankees fan, enjoyed Horse  Racing, Bingo and Pinochle.  Evo was a member of Ss Philip and James Catholic Church, Phillipsburg, NJ.

He was predeceased by his parents; his wife, Mary Elizabeth “Betty” (Roseberry), who died July 2010; brothers, Americo, Orlando and Peter Lombardi; Sisters, Frances Torregiani, Edith Choma, Elizabeth Winters, and Pauline Cooper. He is survived by Daughter, Jody Emery and Husband Thomas of Phillipsburg, NJ; Son, Stephen Lombardi and Wife Jo Anne of Forks Township, PA; Granddaughter, Melissa Emery of Phillipsburg, NJ, and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be private at the family’s convenience.
