Eugene E. McDonald

Born on August 5, 1928 in Elmira, New York, he was the son of the late Edward and Helen O’Hara McDonald.

Eugene was employed with Ingersoll-Rand for over 35 years. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Korean War in the 101st Airborne.

He was a loving husband and father.

Eugene was a loyal member of St. Jane Frances de Chantel Catholic Church, Palmer Twp., Pa.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister Joan McGrath.

He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Kathryn Lilly McDonald, his daughters, Mary Lou Galvin and her husband Gene of Herndon, VA, Kathryn Andrews and her husband Peter of Blue Bell, PA, Regina Gebka and her husband Michael of Yardley, PA, and Patricia Bricker of Fort Washington, Pa. He is also survived by his granddaughters, Meaghan Bricker and Katie Galvin, his sister, Mary Ellen Walke of St. Michaels, MD, along with many cousins, nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held on Friday, October 5, 2018 from 6PM to 8PM at The Finegan Funeral Home, 4080 William Penn Highway, Palmer Twp., Pa. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 6, 2018 at 10:30AM at St. Jane Frances de Chantel Catholic Church, 4049 Hartley Ave. Palmer Twp., Pa.

Interment will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery, Palmer Twp., Pa.
