Ethel was born and raised in Alpha, NJ, and later resided in Phillipsburg, NJ, with her husband Earl Craig, who predeceased her in 2008.
She was a graduate of Phillipsburg High School and a member of St. Mary Church in Alpha, NJ. For the past four years, Ethel was residing with Abington Manor Senior Living in Easton.
Ethel was well known for her employment of over 40 years with Louis M. Ralph & Sons furniture store in Easton, PA. Ethel enjoyed her neighbors in Alpha and Phillipsburg and their many visits, as well as eating out at local Hungarian restaurants, and was a regular at Jimmy’s Hot Dogs in Easton.
She also enjoyed her only son Arthur L. Kardos Jr. and his family, which includes his wife Linda and her grandson Andrew.
She is predeceased by her brother John Lampert and her sister Barbara Lampert. Survivors are son Arthur Kardos Jr. and his wife Linda and their son Andrew, brother James Lampert and nieces and nephews.
A private service will be held by the immediate family due to the public health mandate that is currently in effect.
