Beloved son of Antoinette Baker (nee Meza) and Edward J. Baker. Tacky was born on June 6, 1955 in Wilkes Barre, PA. He was a resident of Old Orchard Palmer, PA and an alum of Phillipsburg High School class of 1973.
An avid reader and lover of fishing and hunting, Edward's greatest joy in life was being a father to his three sons. He loved his sons dearly and did everything he could to give his best to them. Edward was thrilled to become a grandfather this past fall with the birth of his precious grand daughter, Elizabeth. His eyes and face lit up whenever he spoke of her.
Edward loved his family. It was his love of his family that helped him through the toughest days. He had a kind heart, a quick wit, and a tough spirit.
Edward is survived by his parents Antoinette Baker (Mesa) of Phillipsburg and Edward Baker Sr of Palmer, his three sisters Terry Snyder of Sebastian, Florida, Lori Srager of Easton and Annette Luancing of Palmer, a brother Michael Baker of Annandale, three beloved sons, James Baker of Phillipsburg, Robert Baker of Easton and his girlfriend Ashley Hawn of Easton, and Brandon Baker of Bethlehem, his precious granddaughter Elizabeth Baker and numerous nieces, nephews, as well as grand nieces and grand nephews.
A private funeral service for the family will be held at Finegan Funeral Home, 302 Heckman Street in Phillipsburg.
