Diana M. Yukna

Born on December 9, 1945 to the late George W.  and Elizabeth M. (Lansche) Unangst, Diana was raised in Washington and Phillipsburg, NJ.  She was predeceased by her husband, the late James J. Yukna, who passed in 2013.

Diana was a graduate of Phillipsburg High School. She was employed with the Phillipsburg School District for 30 plus years and worked as a teacher’s aide at both the middle and high school. For over a decade, Diana was in charge of ticket sales for Phillipsburg sporting events. She had a great love for gardening and enjoyed cultivating beautiful flowers. She was an avid baker. After retirement, Diana enjoyed traveling with James to Chincoteague, Assateague, Myrtle Beach and the Gulf Coast. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and took great pride in the achievements of her grandson and granddaughters.

Diana will be lovingly remembered by her children; Debra L. Tharp of Forks Township, PA, Jamie Ann Dorsey and husband Craig, of Easton, PA, and Suzanne Dailey and husband Richard, of Nazareth, PA. She will be missed by her beloved grandchildren Kelsee Heimbecker, Kaysee Lynn Tharp, Teanna and Marayna Dorsey, Caden, Olivia, and Avery Kate Dailey and great grandchild Carter James. Diana is also survived by sisters Karen Lee Falvey of Phillipsburg, NJ and Dorothy Reade of North Port, FL, and brother Stewart Unangst of Naples, FL.

Private services will be held under the direction of the Finegan Funeral Home in Phillipsburg.
