Deziree Leigh Ecker

Deziree Leigh Ecker, 39, of Phillipsburg, NJ, passed away June 12, 2022, at her residence.

Born May 19, 1983, in Phillipsburg, she was the daughter of Kenneth Lore and Janet Ecker.

She worked locally in home construction. Her love was gummy worms, coloring, at which she was really good, and could usually be seen holding an ice coffee with a napkin around it. Deziree enjoyed listening to music but really loved taking the family to see the Iron Pigs games. 

In addition to her parents she is survived by her loving children; Alizeah Russell, Jordan Hanisak, and Cody Hanisak, as well as brothers and sisters; Heather Shramko, Stephanie Pierce, Marissa Shramko, Taylor Shramko, Kyle Lore, and Amy Lore, as well as step father, David Shramko. She was predeceased by a brother, the late Brandon Shramko, who passed in 2016. Deziree is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, June 17, 2022, from 4-6pm at the Finegan Funeral Home at 302 Heckman Street in Phillipsburg.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Deziree’s name to the funeral home.
