Deborah A. Bogoly

Deborah A. (Staples)Bogoly, 68, formerly of Phillipsburg, NJ, passed away on May 4, 2020 surrounded by loving staff at Abington Manor. Born July 18th, 1951 in Shirley Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Stanley Staples and Yvonne (Thomas) Walter. Debbie was married to the late Paul S. Bogoly for 41 years.  She retired from St Luke's Warren Hospital in 2011. She also worked many years at McGinley Mills. She cherished her family and friends and always treasured the moments of watching her grandsons play sports.  She was avid bird-watcher and a New Orleans Saints football fan.  After winning battles of breast, lung and liver cancer she was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2010. Debbie then resided at Abington Manor in the care of an outstanding and loving staff where she continued to carry on with her extremely friendly personality and will to live bringing hope to so many.   Survivors: sons, Paul Bogoly, Jr. and wife Angela. Christopher Bogoly and wife Kelly. Grandsons: Zachary and Dakota Bogoly. Brothers and sisters: Denise Snyder, Dennis Staples, Dawn Rick, David Rogers and Michelle Rogers   Predeceased by stepfathers, William Rogers and Eugene Walter  There will be no calling hours or services at Debbie's request. The Finegan Funeral Home, Phillipsburg, NJ, has been entrusted with the arrangements. Memorials: St Luke's Hospice or Susan G. Komen.
