Dana was born on February 10, 1966, in Newark, New Jersey, and worked for University Hospital in Newark, NJ, for most of her adult life. She then moved to Phillipsburg, New Jersey, where she was closer to her children.
Dana’s battle with Cancer began in 2012 and she was a warrior. Even in the midst of her battle she always managed to have a smile that would light up any room. Though she struggled, she was an amazing fighter and remained caring, loving, and forgiving. Dana never lost her strong faith in God and her trust in Him. It was a true privilege to know her. Dana’s battle with cancer is over now and her pain is gone. She is now in the arms of her Savior who has wiped away every tear from her eyes.
Dana is survived by her children, David Rosario, Jr., Clarissa Rosario and Danielle Rosario, her two granddaughters, Arianna Adelis Santacruz and Ariel Elaine Santacruz and her siblings, Joan Clark, Paul Spiers and Carol Hicks. She is pre-deceased by her parents, Sylvester Taylor and June Turner-Spiers; and brothers, Michael Spiers and George E. Spiers.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2018, from 11am to 12:30pm at the Shiloh Chapel, 201 Brother Thomas Bright Avenue, Easton, PA 18042, with the funeral service beginning at 12:30 at the Chapel. The interment will be at the Calvary Cemetery in Harmony Township, NJ.
