Born in Allentown, PA, on Nov. 2, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Luther and Edna Kahler and sister of Bob and Evelyn who predeceased her.
Connie graduated from Allentown High School in 1949. She was a devoted wife of 56 years to husband Ed, owner of Hineline's Meat Plant, a wonderful mother to her two children, and a caring friend to many.
She was active in her church communities and loved to travel, taking many cruises and overseas trips with her beloved Ed. They retired to Florida for 10 years and enjoyed various social activities at their clubhouse, where Connie was Secretary of their Board of Directors for years.
She and Ed moved back to NJ in 2011 and lived with her daughter and her family celebrating holidays and enjoying family time together. She loved baking her special pies for family gatherings and showing off her beautiful coloring artwork.
Connie is survived by her daughter, Lisa Killian and her husband, Jerry, of Hillsborough, NJ; son, Scott Hineline of Bethlehem, PA; grandchildren, Amy and Jeff Killian, Amanda Hineline and great-grandson, David Forshey.
A private Celebration of Life was held in her honor on June 8 at The Finegan Funeral Home in Palmer Township, PA.
