Christopher B Cummings

Christopher B Cummings, 62, of Phillipsburg, NJ passed on February 22, 2021 at St. Luke’s Warren Campus in Phillipsburg.

Born October 10, 1958, in Plainfield, NJ he was the son of the late Cornelius E. Cummings and Jacqueline Carmichael Cummings. He was also predeceased by a brother, Michael, who passed in 2020.

Chris served in the United States Army for 20 plus years and had worked as a cook at the Genesis Health Care facility in Phillipsburg. He was a graduate of Phillipsburg Catholic High School.

He is survived by his children: son Robert Cummings, and daughter Hollie Cummings and her husband Barry Fehr, as well as two grandsons: Joshua & Jacob Cummings. Additionally he is survived by his companion, Robin Mack Piperato, and sisters and brothers: Jacqui Kulick and husband John, Cornelius E. Cummings III, Catherine L. Cummings, Candy Davis, Carol A. Weber and husband Ricky, Peter D. Cummings and wife Mary Anne, Pat Cummings, and Timothy P. Cummings and wife Jeanne, as well as his faithful, four-legged friend, Izzy. He was also the proud uncle of dozens of nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at 10:00 am at St. Philip & St. James Catholic Church, 430 So. Main Street, Phillipsburg, NJ 08865.
