Cheryl Louise Todd

Cheryl Louise Todd, age 55, of Phillipsburg, NJ, passed away peacefully Jan. 4, 2022, surrounded by her family after a brave battle with cancer.

Born April 19, 1966 in Newton, NJ she was the daughter of Doris Szarek and the late Donald Todd Sr.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her son Daniel Todd and his wife Jennifer of Galivants Ferry, SC, her daughter Amanda Todd, her son Andrew Hendricks and his wife Kira and her daughter Alicia Todd all of Phillipsburg, NJ.While she loved her children, she always especially cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren Timothy, Mikyla, Oliver, Matthew, Savannah, Rowen and Benjamin. Additionally, Cheryl is survived by her brother Donald P. Todd and his wife Suzanne of Alpha, NJ, brother Shane Szarek and his wife Chrissy of North Richland Hills, TX, sister Tracy Szarek of Meshoppen, PA and her nephew Travis Todd of Bend, Oregon.

Cheryl graduated from Chamberlain College of Nursing in 2009 with a Bachelor's of Science. She worked as the Supervisor of Nursing Services for Hunterdon Developmental Center for 18 years. She served on the Phillipsburg Emergency Squad from 2000-2007 and the Lopatcong Emergency Squad from 2007-2010. Cheryl was a master craft maker and had a strong passion for helping those in need. She was preceded in death by life partner Alberto Lopez, her son Alexander, her twin daughters Samantha & Bianca, her stepfather Joseph Szarek and her grandparents Julia and Ralph Richards.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Cheryl's memory to the American Cancer Society at cancer.org
