Carmela Fadero

Carmela Fadero, 97, formerly of Easton, Pa. and Phillipsburg, NJ, passed away on January 8, 2023 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Bethlehem, Pa.

Born in Roseto, Pa. on July 21, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Philip and Louise Capobianco. Her husband, Alfred N. Fadero, passed away in 1996.

Carmela worked in the garment industry in the local area for many years.

She is survived by her daughters, Joan Bidwell and her husband Fred, Janet Fadero, Debra McAtee and her husband Chris.  Also surviving is her sister, Jennie Huerta and 6 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Carmela was predeceased by many brothers and sisters.  Her daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the greatest joy in her life.

A viewing will be held on Friday January 13, 2023 from 9 am to 10 am at The Finegan Funeral Home, 302 Heckman St., Phillipsburg, NJ. There will be a funeral service at 10 am, followed by entombment in Holy Apostles Mausoleum in Greenwich Twp., NJ. www.fineganfh.com
