Bruce H. Nolf

Bruce H. Nolf, 78, of Phillipsburg, NJ passed away on December 21, 2021, at St. Luke’s Warren Campus.

Born on March 11, 1943, he was the son of the late William and Irene Ziegenfuss Nolf.

Bruce is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Marilyn L. Heil Nolf. He will be lovingly remembered by his children; Pamela Shay (Lou) of Phillipsburg, Jeffrey Nolf of Bushkill Township, and Timothy Nolf (Natalia) of Quakertown. He was adored by his grandchildren; William Shay (Jackie) of Upper Mt. Bethel Twp., Brandon and Logan Shay of Phillipsburg, and Rachel Nolf of Quakertown as well as 4 great grandchildren; Emily, Lacey, and Will Shay of Upper Mt. Bethel Twp., and Teeghan Shay of Phillipsburg. Bruce is also survived by sisters, Sharon Musgnung (Johnny) of Hellertown, and Sylvia DeRea (Steve) of Wind Gap, and 2 nephews.

Bruce was employed for 24 years by Atlantic States Cast Iron Pipe Company in Phillipsburg while working part time alongside his wife in their small engine repair business, Bruce’s Mower Service. He and his wife ran this business for 54 years before retiring in 2020.

Bruce and Marilyn were members of the Appalachian Fiddle and Blue Grass Association and enjoyed going to their shindigs and blue grass festivals. He enjoyed fishing but, above all else, he enjoyed spending time with his family and teasing his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 24, 2021, from 10-11am at the Finegan Funeral Home at 302 Heckman Street in Phillipsburg. The funeral service and interment at Mt. Eaton Church Cemetery in Saylorsburg, PA will be private.
